If the harder days are mental, not physical

If food, the scale, or the protocol starts taking up more room in your head than the rest of your life, that is its own kind of stop signal. Talking to someone who works specifically with eating and body image is worth more than pushing through. Outside the US, a GP or local crisis line can point you to the right place.
